Missionary Taco Salad
1 lb. hamburger
1 can tomato soup (don't add water)
1 can diced green chilies
3 cans refried beans
chopped lettuce, tomatoes, green onions
grated cheddar cheese
ranch dressing
Fritos scoop size corn chips
Directions: brown and strain hamburger. After straining hamburger, discard the fat and put hamburger in saucepan. Add tomato soup, green chilies and refried beans. Warm on medium heat until hot. Serve: Layer taco salad, Fritos on bottom, then hamburger bean mixture, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, ranch dressing. This recipe is very mild and easy. Have hot pepper sauce on hand for those who like more kick to it. Every month I feed the missionaries and they know that this is what they are usually served. It's a great recipe for a crowd and can be varied to your liking. Can keep hamburger mixture warm in a crock pot. Enjoy.

Wow those younger pictures of your mom really look a lot like you! Those are all such great pictures.....I can't believe how much taller she was than her brother! I love your mom!
Beth, So sorry about your moms passing. My dad came up to hunt his elk here in Idaho and he brought me up to speed on her conditions. I will inform him today about the news. Beth, your mom was one of the standards in my life. I will post a picture on Facebook I have with her at our Seminary graduation. Interestingly enough, I had only been a member of the church for a year and a half when that picture was taken. I'm grateful to have known your mom and I'm gratefulmfor the gospel that helps us understand the meaning of life and bouys us during the difficult times in life. May the Lord bless you all. Love, Ralph Perez
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. I've been married 27 years and am the mother of four living children, ages: 27, 25, 14 and 12.
I grew up in southern California but have lived in southeast North Carolina for 23 years. I love my family, my faith (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) & my country. I enjoy serving in my church, watching sports & politics, listening to music, gardening, and playing with "Dottie" our bull terrier.
