“GET A NOTEBOOK…write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies.” ~Spencer W Kimball
Sister Lockhart! I found and LOVE your blog. I'll admit. I go on here sometimes just to listen to your music! I'm glad I found you and seeing on the updates on your awesome family! This is Ashlie Wilder by the way.. lol
Back in May of 1978, 9 of us Elders from the La Paz Bolivia Mission got permission from our wonderful Mission President to travel home for a few days (9 to be exact). I was mission secretary and asked him if it would be ok to do this seeing how many of us would never ever be able to return and feel the spirit of our mission for years and for some if ever. We went there to Machu Picchu and took the tour. It is so nice to see it look very much the same. I too, will go back and visit soon. All of my mission experience from so many years ago bore out to me the truthfulness of the gospel and how this was a land of my native people. You know, us Mexicans, Bolivians, Peruvians etc... we all look the same to white folks! wink wink
Hi, my name is Beth and this is my "notebook"~ I'm originally from Southern California. I met and married my husband David about forty years ago and we moved to North Carolina. We've enjoyed raising our children here in the South. I love my faith, family and sports. My hobbies are quilting, crafts & family history.
